Sad to see not many people cheering them on. They're so good. I still think even in this day and age people have a hard time excepting women in rock. Hopefully even without Brooke they'll make huge strides. Best of luck to these beautiful and talented ladies!
Yeah I don't know, it was the same for The Warning when they played Syracuse and that was a female focused show. I think it's more that most people only casually follow the rock scene. They turn out for the big names and are not even aware of some of the newer talent.
I miss Brooke but I think they will do good...can't wait for their next cd and hopefully they'll be on stage accepting the Grammy for Better off alone + best new group. Fingers crossed. 🤞🤞🤞
I'll always revere Brooke for coming up with the drum parts for one of my favorite albums of all time but I love having Faith in the group. If you ask me, they're a harder and more exciting band with Faith playing for them. I love watching her play. They're going to make great music with her. "Left Behind" will give you a hint of what's to come. The girl was born to play drums and she kicks ass. She's a godsend and she's perfect for this band.
@@meatwad1I agree wholeheartedly with you. I just saw them a couple weeks ago and Faith was full of energy and she absolutely killed it that night along with the rest of the band. They are soooo good. Wishing them all the best in their journey and I can’t wait for more kick ass new music. 🤘🤘
@@rjjabjiniak8848 In 2 days it's going to be the one-year anniversary of Faith playing her first show with Plush. She's turned out to be the answer to their prayers and then some. She made a great band even greater.
Thank you Gray for the recording. I was bummed to find out the were joining the tour after NY. They sounds fantastic and Faith is doing a bang up job on drums. I am looking forward to the next time I get to see them live.
Is that Faith on drums again? She sounds much tighter than their first show together. I love her energy! Edit: It is Faith Powell! I hope she sticks around.
At that first show, Faith had only learned the songs within 10 days of playing the show. Moriah's voice was giving her trouble. And Plush had been without a drummer for at least 2 months. This clip was recorded about 2 months after their first show with this lineup. Like you said, she DOES sound good on this and I'm thrilled about them asking her to join the band. They sound better than ever.
Thanks Gator! I knew you’d come through and record them. How’d they sound actually being there? Faith is such a joy to watch, as they all are. They seem so tight to me.
Your welcome...I love seeing them...Faith was pretty good on most of the songs, it's tough stepping into the shoes for Brooke on such short notice but she did well. Jamming with the ladies. 🖤🖤🖤🖤🎸🥁🎸🎶 🖤🖤🖤🖤AFBM Gary D (GATOR)
@@garydefazio if she stays with them, and they record another record, Faith will shine in her own light with her own drum parts. Love following these girls and hope to see them live sometime.
Hope there's some new songs coming and I'd like to see more of their musicianship an a little less vocal, vocal seems to have a rhythm which at least to my ear can sound a bit samey no matter the song.
I was happy I heard they got airplay on WDHA! Drat, I'm bummed I missed this show, these ladies kick ass! So they were the 1st of 4 bands? That explains the lazy crowd.

@@garydefazio Sorry, didn’t mean to be critical - just thought a couple of zooms and pans would’ve been nice. I’m in NJ. Wish I’d been there. Who were they opening for? Given the industry buzz, I would’ve expected a bigger early crowd but then I remember, people are jerks. 😬 Been to many shows and have seen some really special opening acts. I will never understand why people shun them. As a live music lover (esp in the days where so many acts aren’t truly “live”) I would think people would flock to see actual musicians!
Some of my angst comes from having a daughter who was frontperson for her School of Rock House Band (strong guitarist, vocals and did a lot of the arranging for a great group of teenage musicians - they opened for The Smithereens at WPU) and seeing how rude people could be. Hard to take as a “Daddy” you know?
The drummer was off this day and that just can't be done in Rock. She has to be hitting a bit early - never late. She was late. But they are generally tight and having watched seasoned veterans make complete asses of themselves over the decades, this was a top notch performance. They pull live very well.
No... assholes security kicked me out of the seat I was in. I shot the rest of the video standing. The we watched Bush. Then I left. I hate this place. Shit happened another time in the past.
The light crowd isn’t due to any anti-girl thinking (on the rock scene). It’s because people are just too cool to show up for the opening band. It’s been that way since the 70s and it’s fucking horseshit. I will say the sound guys never give opening acts the best mix or volume - that might be partially driven by misogyny.
youre right.... first act of a 3 or 4 act bill gets shafted on the sound..... and the first band has to start so early the crowd can be light at that time..... they are young, ....... new drummer, it will come together cause they can play and certainly one of the best singers around. keep rockin!
